Pressure Washers
Ideal For Dirty Jobs

We've all encountered tough cleaning challenges when good old fashioned elbow grease just doesn't cut it. That's when you toss the scrub brush and scraper aside and bring out your handy pressure washer. Sidewalks or siding, metal or wood, a pressure washer can reduce hours of hard work and produce excellent results in no time with a minimal amount of water and without the use of ecologically unfriendly chemicals. A Pressure Washer Has Many Components

Here is a very brief list of basic parts and functions:

  • Inlet â water source through a common garden hose, fitted with an inlet filter / screen to keep out fine dirt and debris.
  • Regulator valve â controls water flow and pressure into the pump.
  • Power pump â consists of a crankcase attached to the motor and manifold. It also includes a number of inlet valves, check valves and outlet valves, which, working together pushes out the pressurized water.
  • Outlet â pressurized water passes through the nozzle; the flow is controlled by the gun trigger. Guns and nozzles are the most commonly replaced parts.
  • Unloader valve â redirects water from the pump though an unloader hose and back into the power pump when the water is not exiting the system so that pressure in the pump is controlled.
